An independent archive of personal dedications
Meridian Celestial Registry was created for people who want to mark a moment with something larger than a card. We pair real catalogued stars — with their published coordinates, magnitudes and constellations — with a permanent record of the dedication you write.
Each registration receives a unique MCR number and is held in the MCR Celestial Registration Database, an independent private registry operated by Meridian Celestial Registry. The record can be verified at any time through the public registry search, and the owner decides how much of it is shown publicly.
We are transparent about what this is: a symbolic, commemorative naming. We do not sell stars, and we do not claim to change any astronomical designation recognized by the International Astronomical Union.
